DAY 01: DHAKA ARRIVAL

Our representative will welcome guests at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka and transfer to hotel. If time permits, we will go for a half day city tour. Overnight stay Dhaka.

DAY 02: DHAKA –SONARGAON –SREEMANGAL

After breakfast, drive to Sonargaon, the ancient capital of Golden Bengal. Visit the old Panam dead city, Goaldi mosque and museum with the panoramic lake and gardens. Then drive to Sreemangal and check-in hotel. Enjoy the evening with seven colors tea –a special recipe of Sreemangal. Stay overnight at hotel.

DAY 03: SREEMANGAL TOUR

Early morning explore the rain forest called “Lawachara”. This is a reserved forest for conservation of wildlife. This park consists 167 species of plants, 4 species of amphibians, 6 species of reptiles, 246 species of birds, 20 species of mammals and 17 species of insects. Then visit Monipuri village and you can buy some souvenir from their handicraft shops. Afternoon; visit Baikkar Beel where hundreds of birds will welcome you. Enjoy the wetland till sunset. Stay overnight Sreemangal.

DAY 04: SREEMANGAL –SYLHET

After breakfast, visit a remote Garo village. Then drive to Sylhet.Afternoon; visit the Clock Tower, Lord Kin Bridge and enjoy a dinner cruise (if it is on operation) on the Surma River in the evening.Stay overnight Sylhet.

Day 05: SYLHET –DHAKA

Morning: make a cruise on Lalakhal and enjoy the crystal clear water. Afternoon; drive back to Dhaka and stay overnight at hotel.

DAY 06: DHAKA CITY TOUR

After breakfast go for a city tour; visit Armenian Church. Take a rickshaw ride to Shakhari Bazaar Hindu Street and experience with the special flavor of typical Hindu culture walking through the narrow passes. Visit Ahsan Manzil known as Pink Palace, historical Curzon Hall of Dhaka University, Dhakeswari Hindu Temple of 12th century, Shahid Minar –the symbol of sacrifice for mother language, Lalbagh Fort and National Museum.

Stay overnight Dhaka.

DAY 07: DHAKA – COMILLA –CHATTOGRAM

After breakfast, drive to Kumilla and visit the spectacular archaeological site Salban Vihara, the relics of old Buddhist Civilization and the rich archaeological museum.Then drive to Chattogram and stay overnight at hotel.

DAY 08: CHATTOGRAM –RANGAMATI

After early breakfast, drive to Rangamati, the queen of hills. Upon arrival, stop at check post for entry clearance. Then transfer to hotel, check in and get fresh. Afternoon; make a cruise on the Kaptai man-made lake by motor boat and enjoy the nature around.

Return land before sunset and stay overnight at hotel.

DAY 09: RANGAMATI –BANDARBAN

After breakfast, drive to the luminous hill district of Bandarban through the plain and hilly road. Upon arrival, stop at check post of Bandarban for entry clearance. Then transfer to hotel, check in and get fresh. Afternoon we will visit Golden Temple –the most ornamented temple in Bangladesh and Nilachal peek. Overnight stay in a nice resort.

DAY 10: BANDARBAN

After breakfast, take local 4 wheel jeep (Chander gari) to undertake a panoramic drive to remote villages of Mru, Tripura and Bawm tribal villages and get their lifestyle. Stay overnight at hotel.

DAY 11: BANDARBAN –CHATTOGRAM –DHAKA –JASHORE

After early breakfast, drive to Chattogram to catch flight for Dhaka. Upon arrival Dhaka Domestic Airport, take connecting flight to Jashore. Your driver will pick you up and transfer to hotel for stay overnight.

DAY 12: JASHORE –BAGERHAT –MONGLA –SUNDARBAN

After breakfast, drive to Bagerhat and visit sixty domed mosque, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will visit some other small mosques and the holy shrine of Saint Khan JahanAli (Rah). Then take a short drive and visit Kodhla Math. After visiting the historical sites, drive to Mongla and board on the reserved cruise boat for Sundarban. The boat will start towards the southern points of the forest. Stay overnight on board.

DAY 13: SUNDARBAN

After breakfast, explore Katka Island famous for the Royal Bengal Tiger, different wild animals & birds. Walking through the Badamtala beach will be a great experience to follow the tiger’s trail down to the beach and savannah type grasslands in the backdrop of the deep covered forest. Return to boat and sail to Kachikhali Island. If time permits, go for a canal cruise and jungle walk. Return to boat and enjoy the B.B.Q Dinner. Stay overnight on the boat.

Day 14: SUNDARBAN –MONGLA

Early in the morning, take a small country boat cruise on a canal to observe colorful birds. Back to the boat and sail for return journey towards Mongla in a different way crossing so many rivers, canals, evergreen forested islands which are not same so long you visited. Visit Harbaria and Karamjal Islands before anchoring Mongla.Reach Mongla and stay overnight on board.

DAY 15: MONGLA –NARAIL –JASHORE

After breakfast, disembark from the boat and drive to Narail watching Otter Fishing. It will be organized specially for you and the trip will be done by local fishing boat. In the evening drive to Jashore four night stays.

DAY 16: JASHORE –KUSHTIA –PUTHIA –RAJSHAHI

After early breakfast, drive to Kushtia and visit the shrine of Lalon Shah. You will find many devotees are singing and dancing here for the spiritual soul. Then drive to Rajshahi and en-route visit Puthia Temple City which is famous for the many temples and King Palace in a complex. Stay overnight Rajshahi.

DAY 17: RAJSHAHI –GAUD –RAJSHAHI

Today we will explore the historical site of Gaud (presently known as Chapai Nawabganj). These Islamic architectural wonders were constructed largely during the Muslim Sultanate and Mughal period when Gaud served as the capital of Bengal. You will visit here Chhota Sona Masjid, Darasbari Mosque, Khania Dighi Mosque, Madrassa, Tahkhana and the mausoleum of Saint Shah Niamatullah (Rah). Drive back to Rajshahi and stay overnight.

DAY 19: RAJSHAHI –PAHARPUR –BOGURA

Morning visit Varendra Museum famous for black stone statues.

Then drive to Paharpur and visit Sompur Mahavihara and archeological museum. En-route visit Kusumba Mosque.After visiting the UNESCO Heritage site, drive to Bogura and stay overnight at hotel.

DAY 20: BOGURA –DHAKA

 Morning: visit Mahasthangarh and the Citadels. The archeological museum will be worth visiting. Then drive to Dhaka through the 11th longest bridge on Jamuna River.

TOURIST VISA INFORMATION – BANGLADESH

 

Visa on Arrival (VOA)

  • Visitors from countries in which Bangladesh has no Embassy/ Mission, and from those countries, which issue Landing Permit (LP) or Visa on Arrival (VOA) to travelers from Bangladesh, will qualify for Visa on Arrival (VOA) at the Hazrat Shahjalal International airport, Dhaka.
  • Foreign investors, exporter and the people attending seminar or symposium organized by the government of Bangladesh will also be eligible for Visa on Arrival (VOA) (VOA seekers must produce valid documents from concerned authorities such as BOI, BEPZA, BGMEA, FBCCI and concerned Ministries of the Government).
  • The immigration officer at the port of entry (i.e. airports, land ports etc.) will approve VOA after examining all relevant documents and after his/her full satisfaction. Please use the same port for entry and departure. People from any country under official ban will not, however, qualify for Visa on Arrival (VOA) or Land Permit (LP).

  • Officers/staff of the foreign Embassies, UN and subsidiary organizations located in Bangladesh (VOA seekers must submit their appointment letters and other related travel documents).
  • Also, citizens of the European countries of above categories are eligible for visa on arrival if they travel to Bangladesh from a country where there is no resident Bangladesh Embassy/Consulate.
